Azure Engineer

Our Azure and M365 environment underpins many of these global operations, and we are looking for an Azure Engineer who can strengthen and guide this critical area.

In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage Azure components, ensuring systems are reliable, cost-effective, and secure. You will provide expertise and make sound technical contributions when discussing project implementation. Your expertise will help automate our global infrastructure with infrastructure as code, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration across regions, checking best practices.

Beyond the technical aspects, you will work with stakeholders and project teams to create a unified, secure, and collaborative environment. You will also play a role in supporting colleagues, providing higher-level technical support when needed. In this way, your work will directly contribute to building a strong foundation that allows our mission to thrive. You will be part of a dedicated and professional IT team, collaborating with colleagues across the world to ensure our systems remain secure, innovative, and ready for the future.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading the design, deployment and maintenance, and backup of Azure and M365 environments.
• Leading in state-of-the-art technologies such as infrastructure as code, AI, secure trusted technical relationships, and remote site management.
• Leading automation initiatives to improve efficiency using tools like PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform, and Power Automate.
• Designing and implementing global monitoring and alerting systems that are cost-effective, improve response times, strengthen internal customer experience, and ensure balance across critical IT services.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support.
• Taking an active lead with project managers, stakeholders, and end users in the implementation of projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• You are a committed Christian with a passion for the Persecuted Church.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar area.
• You have proven, recent experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly networking, databases, data management and architecture, app deployment and performance optimization.
• You are a critical thinker, analytical and solve problems creatively.
• You are resilient and see challenges as opportunities.
• You plan and execute projects, and know how to prioritize.
• You enjoy being part of a team, with a proactive and service oriented mindset.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and are able to communicate effectively across different cultures
